Posted by Gilgit Tribune on November 9, 2009

GILGIT, November 8: Pakistan Muslim League (PML-Q) leader Marvi Memon said all other parties except her party entered Gilgit-Baltistan like parachute and would flee the area like paraglider soon after the elections.
Addressing a public gathering in Danyore, she urged the ruling party PPP to refrain from rigging  the upcoming elections in Gilgit-Baltistan, or PML-Q would raise voice in and outside the Parliament. She said that PML-Q belives in the grass root level empowerment of the people rather than just developing its vote bank.

Senator Wasim Sajjad said the PML-Q contributed towards the development of Gilgit-Baltistan . he pointed out some mega projects completed during PML-Q rule such as the construction of Satpara Dam, the establishment of Karakoram University and mobile phone service in Gilgit-Baltistan
